Yan Luo is an assistant professor at the Social Science Research Institute (SSRI) at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She graduated with her PhD in social work at the University of Alabama. Her research interests broadly center on health disparities, health information technology (HIT), and the social determinants of health.
