Erkmen G. Aslim

Erkmen G. Aslim is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI. Much of his research focuses on the effects of public health policies on labor
supply decisions, health and health care outcomes, as well as crime. Dr. Aslim’s research is shaped by investigating policies that target disadvantaged populations at regional, national, and
international levels while identifying potential disparities. His work informs the debates over health care policies in the US as well as international policies pertaining to women’s inclusion in the labor market.
