Armstrong, MD, is a Professor of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine where she is the Vice Chair of Education and Integration for the Department of Medicine, the Executive Medical Director of the Infectious Disease Program at Grady Health System, and the ID Fellowship Program Director. Her research focuses on the HIV continuum of care, particularly linkage and retention in care in vulnerable populations, as well as medical education in infectious disease. Dr. Armstrong is a former Chair of the HIV Medicine Association and a member of the CDC-HRSA Advisory Committee on HIV, viral hepatitis and STD prevention.
