Walae Hayek, MPH, is the Manager for Healthcare Policy at Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association. Walae previously worked as an EMT and has over many years of experience in healthcare, academia, and philanthropy. Her experiences in the field shaped her drive towards building community and advocating for social equity. Walae is a BUSPH CO21 graduate and their public health background plays a significant role in translating passion for social justice into action. When Walae isn’t working, they love to celebrate joy by finding ways to bring people together.
