Ushma D. Upadhyay

Ushma D. Upadhyay, PhD, MPH, is an associate professor at Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health at the University of California, San Francisco. She is the co-director of the University of California Center of Expertise on Women’s Health, Gender, and Empowerment. Dr. Upadhyay has expertise in abortion safety, abortion access in the U.S., medication abortion, and state-level abortion restrictions.
