Crea, PhD, MSW, is an Associate Professor at the School of Social Work at Boston College, where he is Chair of the MSW Global Practice Concentration and Assistant Dean of Global Programs. Dr. Crea’s research focuses on the intersections of child welfare, refugee social protection and education, and strengthening humanitarian aid and international development programs. The intent behind Dr. Crea’s work is the desire to help improve the lives of the world’s most vulnerable, in partnership with service providers and caregivers, by using research evidence to inform effective policy responses and practices.
