He has been working on Covid-19-related research topics since the beginning of the pandemic. He focuses on applying geospatial big data to investigate the impact on human mobilities and activities during the pandemic. Besides publications, he took the lead to collect various Covid-19-related data sources and share the datasets on Harvard Dataverse for public access.
