Guest AuthorSugy is a PhD student in Health Services Research program at Boston University School of Public Health. Sugy’s primary interests are in field and policy level research using mixed-methods to evaluate past healthcare policies and services while improving the quality of care for the socioeconomically disadvantaged populations. With a unique background of global and public health, she is interested in studying health services disparities among vulnerable populations such as patients with chronic comorbidities such as substance use disorders (SUD), HIV/AIDS, HCV, and severe mental health illnesses.
