Shanice Battle
Guest AuthorShanice Battle, MPH, Ph.D., is a social epidemiologist and recent graduate of the University of Michigan’s School of Public Health. Her work is generally focused on understanding the structural determinants of racial/ethnic and gender health disparities in the United States. In particular, she examines how to measure exposure to structural racism, sexism and classism to analyze how these factors may directly affect health and mental well-being at the individual and community levels.
