Seth Berkowitz

Seth Berkowitz is an associate professor of medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine in the Division of General Medicine & Clinical Epidemiology, and is a general internist and primary care doctor. He studies the relationship between health-related social needs, such as food insecurity, and health outcomes. He is the author of the recent book Equal Care: Health Equity, Social Democracy, and the Egalitarian State, which examines how public policy can improve population health.
