Roshell Muir
Guest AuthorRoshell Muir is an assistant research professor and director of Urban Health Equity and Research at Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Muir’s research focuses on how specialized cell subsets in the follicles can be targeted for novel vaccines against HIV and other viral infections. She also has great research interests to improve the recruitment and retention of a diverse workforce in academic medicine and highlight factors that contribute to disparities in patient care. Dr. Muir is also the current president of the Association for Women in Science Philadelphia, and volunteers with a talented group of scientists to support girls and women in STEM.
