Rafik Nader Wahbi graduated from Boston University School of Public Health with his MPH in 2020, with a focus on community health sciences. As a student, Rafik was a program coordinator at Boston Medical Center’s Clinical Addiction Research and Education (CARE) unit. He was also the President of the BUSPH Students of Color for Public Health student organization. Now, Rafik is a PhD candidate at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health in the Community Health Sciences Department, minoring in law. His research interests lie at the intersection of incarceration, substance use, and racism
