Olivia Shadid

Olivia Shadid, MD (she/her) is a third-year psychiatry resident with the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. Her scholarly, advocacy, and forensic work is with migrant children and families fleeing persecution and seeking asylum. Her book chapters on forensic evaluations of asylum-seekers are forthcoming in Kaplan & Sadock’s Synopsis of Psychiatry and Asylum Medicine: A Clinician’s Guide.
