Mohamed Ismail Nounou

Dr. Nounou is an assistant professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at University of Saint Joseph (USJ). His current research projects involve performing experiments utilizing both in-vitro and in-vivo models of the blood brain barrier and the skin and the development of smart bioconjugate and nanoparticluate formulations that has the capability of by-passing these barriers. He also has special interest in the quality of pharmaceuticals, adulteration and counterfeiting of active pharmaceutical ingredients and ultraceuticals.
