Maya Sabatello

Maya Sabatello, LLB, PhD is an Associate Professor of Medical Sciences and Co-Director of the Precision Medicine: Ethics, Politics, and Culture Project at Columbia University. Her community engaged, mixed-methods research examines how biomedical technologies and genetic information impact social structures, marginalized communities, and individual rights, applying social justice lens to explore the intersection of disability, racial/ethnic minority status and health disparities.
