Lauren Cooper

Lauren Cooper is a data scientist with the Clinical Informatics Center at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. With a background in physics and mathematics, she has recently transitioned from an eighteen-year career as a high school physics teacher to her current focus utilizing electronic health records to help improve equity in health care for underserved populations.
