Guest AuthorKelly Thibert, DO, MPH is the National President of the American Medical Student Association (AMSA), representing over 40,000 physicians-in-training across the country and abroad on issues such as student debt, pharmaceutical influence on medical education, the opioid epidemic, gun violence prevention and resident work hour restrictions. She has recently finished her medical training at Nova Southeastern University, College of Osteopathic Medicine along with her Masters of Public Health in May 2016. She is currently applying to Family Medicine residencies this application cycle and is excited for Match Day 2017.
