Kathryn Phillips

Kathryn A. Phillips, Ph.D. is Professor of Health Economics and Health Services Research, Department of Clinical Pharmacy, University of California San Francisco. Her expertise is on the implementation of new technologies to improve healthcare. A distinguishing characteristic of her work is the translation of science into policy insights by bringing together perspectives of insurers, industry, and government. She has served on national and international scientific advisory committees and boards for the National Academy of Medicine, Food and Drug Administration, the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, GenomeCanada, among others.
