Karina Ramírez Rivera

Karina Ramírez Rivera is a sociologist pursuing a Masters in Regional Studies at the Universidad Autónoma de Tlaxcala with certificates in First Aid Psychology and Supporting the Human Rights of Migrants and Refugees. She has collaborated since 2011 with civil-society organizations dedicated to promoting and defending the human rights of migrants, participating in the documentation of human rights abuses with diverse migrants shelters that aid Central Americans in transit through Mexico, with particular emphasis on shelter programming, gender, and unaccompanied minors.
