Jennifer L. Pomeranz
Guest AuthorJennifer L. Pomeranz, JD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor in the School of Global Public Health at New York
University. Her research focuses on public health law and policy. She is especially interested in policy and
legal options to address the food environment, diet-related disease, products that cause harm, and social
injustices that lead to health disparities. Ms. Pomeranz authored dozens of journal articles and a book,
Food Law for Public Health, published by Oxford University Press in 2016. She was previously the Director of Legal Initiatives at the Rudd Center for Food Policy & Obesity. Ms. Pomeranz earned her Juris Doctorate from Cornell Law School and her Master of Public Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
