Isabelle Horon

Isabelle Horon, Dr.P.H., is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health and directed the Vital Statistics Administration of the Maryland Department of Public Health for nearly 20 years. Dr. Horon served as President of the National Association for Public Health Statistics and Information Systems (NAPHSIS) and was the recipient of the Halbert L. Dunn Lifetime Achievement Award for national recognition of outstanding and lasting contributions to the field of vital and health statistics, and the National Maternal and Child Health Epidemiology Award for Improving Public Health Practice Through the Effective Use of Maternal and Child Health Data and Epidemiology.
