Emily D'Agostino
Guest AuthorEmily D’Agostino is a community-engaged social epidemiologist and Director of Community-Engaged Research Practice in the Occupational Therapy Doctoral Division of Duke School of Medicine. She studies the factors that promote health equity at the population level, including promoting physical activity and fitness, preventing obesity, and fostering mental health and resilience among youth. She also specializes in building capacity for academic-community partnerships and addressing structural and social factors that impede access to health for all ages.
