Emily Benfer

Emily Benfer is a visiting professor of law at Wake Forest University School of Law. Her clinic practice and research focus on the legal and social determinants of health and their effect on historically marginalized groups, with a focus on laws, policies and systems that regulate or restrict housing conditions, stability, and access. She has received numerous commendations for her work, including the American Public Health Association David P. Rall Award for Advocacy.
