Deanna Behrens

Deanna Behrens is a pediatric critical care physician. She is a Health Policy Scholar through the Academic Pediatric Association with a focus on strengthening legislation to decrease the burden of firearm violence on children. She is also active in the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) as the executive editor of the Council on Immigrant Child and Family Health newsletter, and in the Illinois Chapter of the AAP on the Nominating Committee.
