Danielle Gartner (Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians) is an assistant professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Michigan State University. Dr. Gartner is a population health scientist whose work recognizes and supports Indigenous self-determination, sovereignty, and resurgence. Her research examines health disparities in women’s reproductive health.
