Daniel Jimenez

Daniel Jimenez is an associate professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He completed his PhD in clinical psychology at the Pacific Graduate School of Psychology in 2007 and a geriatric mental health services postdoctoral fellowship at Dartmouth Medical School in 2009. He has extensive experience in aging research, and has a special interest in improving access to and engagement with mental health services among underserved populations. He has received support from multiple federal grants to design and implement culturally appropriate and novel approaches to preventing mental illness in racial and ethnic minority older adults.
