Brena F. Sena

Sena graduated from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in 2014, focused on Sociomedical Sciences and Global Health, and is a staff member at the Center for Innovation in Social Work and Health (CISWH) at Boston University. She is originally from Recife, Brazil and moved to Boston when she was 12 years old, growing up with parents that are both Brazilian physicians. What drives and fuels her is a desire for bridging gaps in health care and building leadership and community organizing towards tackling social injustice.
