Bohdan Nosyk, PhD, is an Associate Professor and St. Paul’s Hospital Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research (CANFAR) Chair in HIV/AIDS Research at the Faculty of Health Sciences of Simon Fraser University. He is a Research Scientist leading the Health Economic Research Unit at the British Columbia Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS and the recipient of a Michael Smith Health Foundation for Health Research Scholar Award. Combining simulation-modeling methods with econometric and biostatistical analyses of health administrative data, Dr. Nosyk’s research seeks to inform complex policy decisions surrounding the prevention and management of HIV/AIDS and substance use disorders.
