Andres Barkil-Oteo
Guest AuthorDr. Andres Barkil-Oteo is a Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine. In his work he focuses on using technology to increase capacity of non-specialists to deliver effective and high-quality mental health care in low-income settings. He is the co-founder of the Syrian Tele-mental Health Network, and the editor of a textbook from Oxford University Press (2017) on using telemental health in low-income settings. Dr. Barkil-Oteo worked previously with Doctors Without Borders (MSF) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICIRC).
