Altaf Saadi
Guest AuthorAltaf Saadi is a neurologist and clinician-investigator at Massachusetts General Hospital, and is an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School. She is the principal investigator of the Neurodisparities and Health Justice Lab, which seeks to advance health equity and justice both within neurology and health care more broadly by targeting social and structural determinants of health and developing community-partnered and multi-level solutions, with a focus on immigrants and forcibly displaced persons. She is the associate director of the MGH Asylum Clinic and a recipient of the 2023 Bernard Lown Award for Social Responsibility, a national award for health justice leadership.
