Alex Thornton

Alex Thornton is a Trainee Clinical Psychologist studying at the University of Essex (UK). She worked alongside Professor Susan Ayers at the Centre for Maternal and Child Health Research at City, University of London from 2013-2016. Her doctoral thesis (recently submitted) explored women’s experiences of the process of recovery from birth trauma.
