Alex O'Donnell

Alex O’Donnell is a doctoral candidate in the child track of the clinical psychology program at DePaul University. His research focuses on how structural and relational factors—such as the social safety net, childhood adversity, and relationships with adults—shape mental health and developmental outcomes in youth. He uses a variety of methods to better understand what effectively supports young people and how systems can work better for them.
