Lisa J. Messersmith

Lisa J. Messersmith, PhD, MPH, Associate Professor in the Department of Global Health at Boston University School of Public Health, has over 25 years of research, program and policy experience on gender, gender-based violence, human rights, HIV/AIDS, harm reduction, stigma and discrimination, and sexual and reproductive health and rights. She was the lead researcher on the study looking at the vulnerabilities faced by people who inject drugs in Ghana.
